Item Description
Large 2" button c. 1950 that has auction records exceeding $1,000. Cello displays totally clean but there are hairline scratches on his cap and three are deep enough to show. Primarily a .5" at right that continues onto the cream bkg. Reverse has some oxidation scale, mostly removed but with light hairline scratches on the metal which never had a backpaper. Overall, button presents VF with perfect centering, full gloss and no stain. Rarely offered.
