Auction #187 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 926 in auction 187
Item Description
10.5" tall. 2.5" dia. lithographed paper over cardboard cylinder has war illustrations with artillery aimed to the sky. Planes and parachutes appear in the sky. Marked at bottom "Made In USA." On top of cylinder are four 8" wire arms each with a die-cut cardboard airplane attached to the end. Arms lock outward in place. When each plane is "shot down" the arm falls and a score appears at top of cylinder. Each plane has bent tail from use, but each airplane is complete. Tin windup mechanism with built-in key works well. Fine.
