Lot of two. First is 8.75x11.75" w/28 pages. Titled "Highlights Of The Byrd Antarctic Expedition." © 1930 by the Tidewater Oil Co., makers of Veedol motor oils and Tydol gasolines. Each page is filled w/captioned photos. Book also includes "Chronology Of The Expedition." Softcover. Loose center page. Second book is 7.25x9" w/48 pages. Titled "The Romance Of Antarctic Adventure." Inside title page reads "With Byrd In The Antarctic In Picture And Story." Along w/pictures and story are ads for products of the day. Back cover is stamped "City Club Presents Admiral Richard E. Byrd In Person With Moving Pictures 'Conquering The Antarctic' Public Auditorium Thursday, October 31, 1935." Wear to spine but remains attached, lt. surface dust. VF.
