Item Description
8.5x11" letter on David McKay Company Publishers letterhead dated April 21, 1939. On side margins of letter are characters: Popeye, Henry, Flash Gordon, Jiggs, Mandrake, Dagwood and Blondie, The Phantom, Snuffy Smith and Barney Google, among others. Letter has ink-stamped names June King and Ace. Letter content deals with the start up of two new comic magazines. Letter has been folded horizontally once and vertically twice for mailing and had a button in upper left-hand corner (not included), which has left tell-tale pin holes and button indentation. O/w light handling wear and aging. VF.
