Item Description
1x11.5x14" box contains complete game. 14x20" gameboard. Patented 1915 Gibson Game Co. Boston. Comes with 24 two-sided die-cut cardboard markers representing a wide variety of products of the day. Products include: Ivory Soap/Mennen's Talc/Necco Wafers/Diamond Salt/Dickson Pencils/Hire's Extract/Edison Light Bulbs/Pillsbury Flour, etc. Also included are four players dressed in Victorian outfits. Box lid has five splits on apron. Box bottom, 3 splits. The color illustration on both the lid and gameboard remains as bright as the day it was made. Very busy shopping scene on lid includes wonderful illustrations of shoppers and products. Gameboard and markers are equally as bright and clean. Other than box splits, game remains Exc.
