4.5x12.5x16" printed corrugated box. c. 1960s. Illustration of Mantle on top. Text explains "Remote Control Automatic Mechanical Switch Hitter Indoor And Outdoor batting practice set. Made by Irwin. Box holds 12" tall plastic pitching device. Included is thin hose with rubber bladder to activate pitching action. Bladder has lost elasticity. Also includes 3 plastic baseballs as issued. Also original instructions and box insert. Pitching unit has several melt marks on back side not affecting side with text reading "Mickey Mantle Switch Hitter." Box lid has clear tape reinforcement. Although box shows wear, set appears complete as issued. Box VG. Set displays Fine. Rare.
