Item Description
2.25" deep by 7x15" tall. 8" metal figure. Foil-covered pressboard. Text on front includes "Gunther Premium Dry Beer/Hall Of Fame/Jim Thorpe/1888-1953." Display is heavy w/metal figure bolted to pressboard backing. Back of display has foil attachment w/text including "Gunther Hall Of Fame Sports Series No. 3 Jim Thorpe" and gives a synopsis of Thorpe's history and accomplishments. Bottom of text reads "Registered Display No. 12869." Gunther also did displays of Babe Ruth and John L. Sullivan in same series. Professional repaint to figure. Foil covering over wooden base shows lt. wear. Other small traces of wear but VF and comes w/small unopened but worn envelope w/dry adhesive sponge mounting. A great item for both sports fans and beer collectors.
