Item Description
Lot of five on artboard, typically between 9x13" to 11x15". All are done in India ink and grease pencil by artist F. Kramer. Kramer worked on pulps and illustrated numerous childrens books. All five pieces are for same story which appears to be titled "Amlaric The Deliverer." We are unsure if this was done for a pulp or a book. Two of the illustrations are quite gory, with one showing man having ear chopped off and another showing Viking having hands lopped off by sword. Various pencil notations in margins as well as pinholes. Margins also have aging. Fine/Fine+. Pieces are numbered: M1139 and corresponding 739-402-403, 405-407. All are signed.
