Item Description
13x17.5" image area oil on canvas matted to 17x22". Comes with a copy of the 1958 coloring book with stories and pictures by Tom Gill. 8.25x11" with 76 pages. Half pages have been neatly colored in crayon. Light surface dust to cover. Book remains VF. Artwork remains bold, bright, clean. Scattered paint nicks in upper night sky. Well done and unique. Gill is noted for his longtime collaboration with Dell Comics, working on The Lone Ranger, Hi-Yo Silver and Bonanza titles. Gill recently passed away at the age of 92 on 10/17/05.
