4x12x4.5" tall tin litho toy with built-in key. 1939. Great design with nicely detailed rocketship includes separate tin figure of Buck Rogers from shoulders up with gun. Toy works and travels in circles as a pinging sound is produced. No sparks are produced as flint is gone. Separate tail fin flint cover which is often missing has been expertly crafted and replaced. Separate figural piece has scattered paint wear, mostly on helmet. Underside below Buck image is a .5x1" spot of bare metal. Rocket body has additional small scattered paint nicks, but nothing serious and piece still retains full color and high gloss finish. Fine.
