Item Description
4-7/8" tall (8" tall to top of raised metal handle) tin litho. Made in England by Happynak, 1950s. Bottom edge of pail has small text noting it as "No. 708." Sides feature two different images of Mickey Mouse w/ice cream cone and milkshake in hand as well as two different images of Donald Duck. Bottom has fish sand mold and raised "Happynak Series - Made In England" text. Exterior of bottom rim has sliver of bare metal showing from original crimping and top rim and interior show some scattered wear from use as does handle. Exterior has some lt. scattered wear w/1/8" and .25" paint flakes on one Mickey's face. Still bright, glossy and Fine overall. First we've offered in our 49 years. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection and this is the actual example shown in their book "Comic Character Metal Sand Toys."
