Item Description
2.5" dia. by 3" tall tin litho designed like a beehive. Marked "Made In Germany - Elbezet" on side. 1930s. Wrap-around scene depicts Mickey Mouse holding empty jar in one hand w/key in the other as if about to open locked beehive door to retrieve honey. Sides have images of bees and flowers. Underside has trap but is missing key. Tiny scattered traces of paint wear w/some lt. trace of oxidation on top. Fine/VF. Scarce. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
