Item Description
19-3/8x27-3/8". Printed by Donaldson Litho. Co. of Newport, KY. c. 1930. Ferris Circus was short-lived, operating from 1929-1935. Noted for their animal performers, which included Obert's Troupe of "Canine Marvels." 22 of these performing dogs appear on poster including dogs climbing ladders and diving off into net. Upper left has penciled date in margin. Poster shows some scattered handling wear and has three vertical folds and single horizontal fold at center. This has had some color touch-up along fold lines and at fold crease intersections. Small strip of tape at each corner as once mounted. Fine. Fred Hoffman Collection.
