Item Description
26-7/8x41" one-sheet. c. 1937. Poster features great image of clown holding sign w/image of man (whom we presume to be Dan Rice) at center. Small tear just above this. Bottom notes "Combined With Original Gentry Bros. Famous Dogs And Ponies - Buck Sells Real Wild West." Upper left has penciled date in margin. Poster has even moderate aging and handling wear as folded. Several creases have has color touch-ups and left center margin has 2x2" area replaced. 4.5", 7" and 8" tears along right margin w/tape repairs on reverse. Pin holes along margins w/1/16" hole w/tape repair on reverse at upper left. Scattered all over faint moisture spots and rippling. Good/VG. Fred Hoffman Collection.
