Item Description
Both posters feature similar graphics, w/mounted rider blowing long trumpet and each features penciled date at upper left margin. Both also have pinhole at each corner, which also have small strips of tape as once mounted. Hagenbeck-Wallace poster measures 19-5/8x27". Printed by Central Ptg. and Illinois Litho Co. of Chicago, IL. c. 1934. Three vertical/horizontal fold lines. Top center has .5" tear and 1.75" tear w/tape repair on reverse, which has faintly stained. Pinhole and small strip of tape at each corner as once mounted. Margins also have strips of tape staining at corners. Lower right has 2" tear w/tape repair on reverse that has stained w/age. Lower margin has date sheet remnants. VG. Cole Bros. poster measures 18-5/8x27-3/8". Printed by Erie Litho. & Ptg. Co., of Erie, PA. c. 1945. Margins also have strips of tape staining at corners from masking tape on reverse. Faint horizontal crease at bottom w/vertical crease right of center. If framed, would display Fine. Fred Hoffman Collection.
