Item Description
First two items are early 1930s while the Mickey/Pluto pin is c. 1935. First item is a silvered brass die cut figure of Mickey 1" tall and with a pair of folded pointed prongs on the back. At first glance we thought this was the accent off the leather bands of the 1933 wrist watch but we soon realized on the bands Mickey faces left and on this piece he faces right. In any case this piece was likely attached to a leather backing at some point. Next item is beautifully designed 1-3/8" long "Sterling" pin showing full figures of both Mickey and Minnie as if walking towards each other with arms and hands extended. The reverse pin is a replacement, close to the original but with no point on the end. Also the mechanism to lock the pin in place is here but has been slightly bent and the tiny moveable loop will not close. Still a beautiful piece of jewelry. Next are .75" figures of Mickey and Pluto with bright enamel paint. They are joined by a fine link chain which has a little luster off but quite minor. Paint on the figures remains Exc. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
