Item Description
The Mickey Mouse merchandise catalog for 1934 introduced the Mickey Mouse "Skoots" sneakers by Converse. They produced this gorgeous and rare 1.25" button to promote the product but for some reason they sure didn't make many of them. Curl reads "©Walt Disney Enterprises." Button has a minimum of surface wear although for total accuracy we will point out a .5" slight scuff line beginning on the bat design just above Mickey's nose and curving downward and to the left ending just below the end of the bat. While this and a much smaller and equally light 3/16" scratch at the left end of his shoe on the left catch reflected light, they are both quite minor and from almost all angles do not show at all. The button has intense color, perfect centering and high gloss. Among the rarest and most graphically striking of all the 1930s Mickey Mouse buttons.
