Item Description
7.75x10.75" thin cardboard sleeve w/thin paper backing contains 21x30" paper gameboard covered in wonderful illustrations. Produced for the Japanese market by Suzuki Publishing Co., 1950s. Sleeve features great full body image of Superman running across ocean w/his name in Japanese kanji at top. Paper back has extensive Japanese text. Scattered handling wear w.some creases and even all over aging. Paper back has 2" tear along bottom right edge and 2.5" tear at top left w/archival tear repair.VG/Fine. Gameboard is covered w/wonderful illustrations, including Superman w/elephants, saving Lois Lane, as Clark Kent and changing into Superman as well as image of robots and image of Superman in bearded old man disguise. Believed complete as issued and played w/generic dice as each illustration has text and dice images. Gameboard has been folded as issued, w/small tear at fold crease intersections and some minor edge wear. Upper left margin has streak of aging, but gameboard is o/w clean and VF.
