Item Description
8.5x10-3/8" single-sided promotional pictures featuring full body image of Superman as seen in the opening of the Fleischer Studios "Superman" cartoons in the early 1940s. Widely considered to be some of the best work to emerge from Paramount's cartoon division, these cartoons helped add to the mythology of Superman as we know him today. This picture was issued by "The Cincinnati Enquirer" newspaper during the original release dates of 1941-1943 and was likely inserted in newspapers. All over lt. age spotting w/some edge/corner tip wear/creases. Fine overall. Rare and first we've seen in our 49 years. Franco Toscanini Collection.
