Item Description
29.25" tall high quality hard plastic four-string cut-away guitar w/label w/portraits of The Beatles on guitar body, which also has facsimile Beatles signatures. Made in England by Selcol Productions Ltd. c. 1964. While it looks similar to the New Beat guitar (see item #2642) at first glance, notable differences include - the overall size of the guitar, the shape of the guitar head, the design on the guitar body, Beatles signatures are located at a different spot on the guitar body and guitar features no pick guard or tail piece as designed/produced. Guitar has four monofilament strings and is missing "Selcol" sticker on interior of guitar body. Body of guitar has a few scratches on front and some scuffing on back w/2.5" hairline crack at back center. .25" chip to guitar head. Beatles label has some aging/discoloration but is complete. Guitar is Fine overall. Among the rarest Beatles toy guitars. See following items #2642-2643.
