Item Description
3.75x6.75x7/8" cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 1x1.5" silver luster metal case w/full color dial featuring full color "Joe Palooka" image. New Haven, ©1947 Ham Fisher. Lid shows obvious aging/wear w/3-3/8" tear/puncture w/paper tape repair to lid interior. .5x.75" spot of paint on end panel. VG. Illustrated insert shows some wear w/.25" tears at die-cut slots and inked price. Fine. Original leather band shows lt. wear. Dial has all over pinpoint dots of paint wear but image remains strong. Watch is overwound and not running but case retains near full luster. Fine. Box is rare, and this is the first boxed example we've offered in many years.
