Item Description
2.25x4-5/8x1" cardboard box w/hinged lid (though lid is now loose) features specialty art of Smitty showing watch to Herby. Art is signed by Smitty creator Berndt. New Haven Clock Company, 1935. Aside from lid being loose, box has all over aging/dust soiling w/corner tip/edge wear. Despite issues, box remains tight. VG. 1-1/8x1.5" chrome luster case w/full body Smitty image on dial. Original leather band shows wear. VG. Crystal has yellowed somewhat and dial has noticeable pinpoint age spots at upper right/lower left. Case retains much near full luster though stem shows wear from use. Fine. Running. One of the rarest character watches and w/extremely rare box, this is only the third we've offered in our 49 years.
