Item Description
7.25x10.25" with 148 pages. Book published by Random House in 1969 with recorded introduction by Arlo Guthrie tipped into back cover. This first edition book was published after the success of Guthrie's song "Alice's Restaurant" and movie of same title. Book has several recipes from the actual Alice's Restaurant and is illustrated with many bw illustrations and bw/full color images from film. Boldly signed in blue marker on half title page by author Alice May Brock. Dust jacket has obvious wear with many tears and stains. VG. Hardcover book is VF with some light aging. Auravision "An Introduction By Arlo Guthrie" flexidisk record is N. Mint. Also included is a 1.5" dia. pinback button with "Alice's Restaurant" text. Exc. Comes with Hake's COA.
