Item Description
The first piece is 3" tall and the other four 2-7/8". The first somewhat convex badge has white and blue enamel on brass. Around the numeral "11" at the bottom is the hand engraved word "Retired." Badge reverse names maker "Entenmann/Los Angeles." Only light general wear from actual use. No damage. Extremely well made. Next four badges have airline logo and all read "American Airlines Inc./Special Police." Two of these in a gold and bronze luster are probably badges which have not had brass plating and enameling added. The panel on the first reads "Lieutenant/7" and panel on the second reads "Sergeant/A0A." Third badge is similar but in a silver luster and with no text on the lower panel. Fourth badge is a finished example with plating and enameling and lower panel on this one reads "Captain/124." We estimate all of these to be from the 1950s era. All are NM as made and display Mint.
