Item Description
Lot of three 11x14" lobby cards for the original release of the 1941 15-Chapter Republic movie serial based on Burroughs' novel of the same name. Serial starred Francis Gifford in the title role. Lot includes title card, showing Gifford, co-stars and witch doctor as well as monkey. Card also features art images of African wildlife. Each card features Gifford image at left w/inset film scene. One shows man dead across map while other shows airplane surrounded by natives. All cards are for Chapter 15 "Flight To Freedom." Cards have even aging and pin holes at corners or at margins. Airplane card has .5" tear to top center w/4" crease. VG. Rest are Fine overall.
