Item Description
This and the following lot featuring Don Newcombe are each 1.25" real photo buttons. There are at least nine players known in the series which was produced in Canada with curl text naming the maker "Basiliers-Montreal." The Royals were the AAA affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers in the International League. This example showing Connors and the following showing Newcombe are the key players among the eight different we know of. Some extremely light and pretty much normal all over surface wear showing only in reflected light. The button is Exc. and displays Mint with high gloss. Rare.
