Item Description
Sackman Brothers Co. set issued in 1935. Play outfit consists of pants w/suede-like chaps/cuffs and fabric vest w/3.5" dia. leather patch w/metal rivets that has "Buck Rogers 25th Century" image/text. Pants show moderate scattered staining/aging and suede-like material has stiffened w/age. VG/Fine. Child's orange shirt has collar tag removed but is o/w clean and Exc. Vest has some scattered lt. staining but is o/w VF. This was both sold in stores and issued as Cream of Wheat premium. Comes w/child's size suede cloth helmet w/movable visor unit w/plastic eye cover insert, which has a number of cracks and is aged, but remains intact. Metal ear flaps feature "Buck Rogers 25th Century" image. Chin strap present but missing snap. Original separate metal accent piece attached to top back center as issued. Suede covering has stiffened w/age and has moderate scattered wear/surface cracks. VG/Fine. Rare. Comes w/11x11" suede on canvas holster for Daisy Rocket Pistol XZ-31. Missing original belt. Holster has stiff fabric patches w/metal rivets and rocketships and planets images as well as full figure image and "Buck Rogers 25th Century" text at bottom. Three die-cut blue star attachments and red strap across center. Scattered wear from use w/aging to fabric patches. Fine.
