Item Description
3-3/8" heavy piece of lead with Liberty head on the obverse which has "Liberty" on the coronet and the date "1896" at bottom. The obverse is similar to Schornstein #713 but there are no star designs on the front of this piece. The reverse appears to match Schornstein #713 with text "United States Of America" and with "16 To 1" below the eagle's wing at left and with "NIT" to the side of the right wing. There is a small wreath below. Small traces of wear. Exc.
