Item Description
5.5x11-3/8" thin paper handbill for April 5, 1967 concert in Leeds, England at the Odeon Theatre. Concert was headlined by The Fabulous Walker Brothers (who are pictured) w/Cat Stevens and Jimi Hendrix (both also pictured). Additional acts included The Californians, Nicky Jones, The Quotations (The Walker Brothers' backing band) w/special guest star Engelbert Humperdinck. This concert took place just under two months before the UK release of The Jimi Hendrix Experience's debut album "Are You Experienced." Complete w/postal booking form at bottom, unused and designed to be removed to be sent away for tickets by mail. Handbill shows scattered handling wear w/.25x.5" spot of moisture staining at top margin. Slight diagonal vertical crease at center. Fine overall. Scarce early handbill.
