Item Description
Original cardboard box contains 9.5" tall bonded-porcelain statue shows Ringo mid-stride, traversing Abbey Road, as he appeared on the classic cover to the 1969 album of the same name. Produced by Gartlan USA, Inc. and ©1996 Monteco BV/Roccabella, Inc. Box has small "Artist Proof" foil sticker on front but has heavy water damage and just comes along. Statue remains protected in original styrofoam packaging. Marked "Artist Proof" on foil sticker on underside, this was part of a limited edition of 1,000, w/just 250 being designated as Artist Proofs. All were approved by Ringo himself and the original issue price was $600. They quickly sold out. Wonderfully detailed, statue captures Ringo's likeness perfectly. Base has 1x3.25" cardstock attachment that Ringo has hand-signed in black felt tip pen, adding his distinctive star signature sketch. NM.
