Item Description
2-1/8" cello. with matte finish allowing one to write their name at center. Reads "Jewish War Veterans Of The U.S." at top and "Miami, Florida, Aug. 28th-Sept. 1st, 1939" at bottom. Top center has groups logo featuring a six pointed star encompassed by a wreath and an eagle at center. Additional text reads "44th National Encampment." These would have been WWI Jewish veterans and possible some from the 1898 Spanish American War. The group was established in 1896 and holds a Congressional charter. Some very faint surface wear seen only in reflected light. NM displaying Mint. Rare. See also Albert Einstein letter lot #94.
