Item Description
1.25" with "Dawson Co. Cleveland O." on curl. The Federation was a pro-National Socialist group established March 29, 1936. Sometimes referred to as the 'German American Bund', it was led by Fritz Gissibl and ran over 20 recreational camps around the country many of which were firing ranges affiliated with the National Rifle Association. One such camp was outside of Cleveland and this button was produced for a convention there on July 4, 1936. All but about a 20% area at center has light brown toning. Cello itself has full gloss and no splits. Fine.
