Item Description
14.25x20". 1942. US Government Printing Office by artist John Phillip Falter. Depicted are two males, two children and a woman all backed up against a brick wall looking on with the shadow of a figure in military hat holding a whip about to strike a person on the ground. Additional text at bottom reads "Work For Freedom!" Surface paper loss at top center affecting the "D" in "World." Also a 2" diagonal tear that extends through the same "D" down to the "N" in And" that is repaired on reverse with archival tape. Reverse has six small squares of white paper neatly affixed at corners and center top and bottom. One each vertical and horizontal fold as issued. Minor handling wear. VG/Fine.
