Item Description
Each newsletter is 8.75x11.25" and four pages with several photos of JFK. First two produced by "New England Kennedy For President Committee," Boston and third from National Kennedy For President Committee in Washington D.C. First is from September 1959 with lead article: "Polls" show "Senator Kennedy Is The Substantial Favorite Of Democratic Voters..." and box at lower right announcing the formation of "The New England Kennedy For President Committee". Second is c. Dec. 1959 with lead article "Kennedy Decision Due Early In January". Third c. March 1960 and reports primary wins, JFK polling lead over Nixon and "PT Boat Survivors Form Kennedy Veterans Committee". Included in this lot: letter urging interested Democrats to sign up new voters on "Senator John F. Kennedy" stationery dated Aug. 29, 1960 with printed signature and second sheet with ten blank spaces to sign up voters; 4x9" postpaid mailer designed as receipt for $10 contribution with text "Souvenir Of The Part I Played In History" and a 2.5x5" one sided cardboard "Official Badge/1960/Dollars For Democrats Drive September 9th to 19th" signed in ink by "Don Wright" as "Your Authorized Solicitor."
