Item Description
20.25x29" Japanese B2 movie poster for the original release of the 1962 kaiju film, the third installment in the Godzilla movie series released by Toho Studios and the first to be released in color. Produced as part of Toho's 30th Anniversary celebration, this film remains one of the most commercially successful of all the Japanese Godzilla films. Poster features great graphics of King Kong hefting huge boulder over his head, ready to throw it at Godzilla, who appears at bottom right, blasting his atomic breath. Japanese citizens are seen fleeing the destruction at bottom left and Mt. Fuji appears in bkg. Poster has been professionally linen-mounted w/some restoration along top margin, but this blends perfectly as done by Poster Mountain and poster now displays NM.
