Item Description
The patriotic bow motif was extremely popular during the 1900 campaign and buttons with this design were made in many sizes. The 7/8" and 1.25" designs are plentiful but these much larger 2-1/8" versions are much scarcer, especially so when condition is as NM as with this pair. The McKinley version has back paper with tiny W&H text and much larger text naming New York jobber The Political Equipment & Mfg. Co. The Bryan version has a standard W&H back paper. There is a ½" diameter spot of surface paper missing off the upper left but otherwise both pieces are NM displaying Mint with high gloss and perfect centering.
