Item Description
Original release 27x41" one-sheet poster No. 77-21. Some of these posters were released folded and some were rolled. Poster we are offering has been folded (three horizontal folds) and is printed on thinner paper stock. Soundtrack is mentioned in relatively small print but not the later edition that was produced for record stores. Poster has the appropriate MSS exhibition notice, a sharp and clear GAU and the 1977 copyright is correctly indented. No stray black lines near Luke Skywalker's belt. ©1977 20th Century Fox Film Corp. Great art by Tom Jung, featuring more preliminary design of C-3PO. Poster shows scattered handling wear, mainly along fold lines, which have some color rubs/tiny pinch creases. 1.5x3" area along bottom fold at left has faint moisture staining w/some surface paper wear. Would display Fine if framed.
