Item Description
Largest 1.75"/smallest 7/8". First was produced by "Kenwood Oakland Community Organization" a small community in the city of Chicago. A scuff affecting the left side and top center of surface and a less than ¼" nick of missing cello. at 2 o'clock. Next is litho with text "We're On The Move To End Slums." Two tiny vertical scratches at 9 o'clock in field otherwise only a couple of tiny missing dots of paint on extreme edge. Also included are a litho and cello. variety featuring the Movements logo. Both are Exc. displaying Mint. The Movement was organized by SCLC while Dr. Martin Luther King was its President. This was the most aggressive civil rights action in the North and lasted from 1965-1967 and is credited with propelling the Fair Housing Act into law. A rare group.
