Item Description
3.25x7.5x7.5" tall hand-painted wooden rocking horse has attached celluloid Mickey Mouse rider figure and features built-in winding mechanism underneath horse. Made in Japan and distributed in the US by Geo. Borgfeldt Corp. in the early 1930s. Originally issued in a box w/full color illustrated paper lid label w/toy's name as noted in this listing's title along w/Disney copyright. Rocking horse shows moderate scattered paint wear/flaking and is VG/Fine overall. Mickey has jointed arms/legs and holds original string reins in one hand. Small markings on Mickey's back include copyright symbol, maker's mark of letter "T" in a circle and "Made In Japan" text. Scattered dust soiling to white of face and hands. VF overall w/no cracks. Toy works properly. Rare.
