Item Description
11-1/8x28" frame contains pair of 8.75x12" animation sheets w/lead pencil art. First has  6.5x11.25" image area w/audience, including a mouse at upper left, watching an animal act, then appearing again watching Alice balancing on chairs on tightrope. Sheet has pencil "TR-1" at upper right corner. Second sheet has 3.5x11" image area at bottom w/audience, including a mouse at far left, from beginning of cartoon watching hootchie coochie dancer sideshow. Both sheets have pair of double punch holes at left side edge, just affecting image area on first sheet a bit. Light aging and a few lt. handling creases. VF as professionally double-matted and framed under UV glass. Rarely seen original art from Walt Disney's first successful cartoon series, done three years before Mickey Mouse. Historic. We sold these same sheets of art in our July 2012 auction for $1,391 and they have now been re-consigned to us as framed. Comes w/two DVDs featuring Alice cartoons.
