Item Description
3-3/8" long painted tin truck cab w/plated wheels comes w/two 4.25" long trailers of same style w/opening doors. 1940s. Articulated cab has raised "Tri-Ang Minic Toys - Made In England" text on underside. Cab works well and comes w/"Minic" key. Each trailer features different decals on side - "Carter Paterson & Pickfords Joint Parcels Services" decal features man riding elephant, whose trunk flies away w/"Send Your Trunk In Advance" text. Silver off one decal edge. Trailer has replaced rubber tires. Additional trailer w/die-cast wheels and original tires features decals reading "Minic Transport Express Service - Road, Rail - Air & Sea" w/smaller "Tri-Ang" decals. Scattered wear to doors and aging to decals. Fine/VF.
