Item Description
2.25" with the celluloid having extensive cello cracks but only the very slightest bit of age scattered over the white background. Reverse has St. Louis Button Co. paper. This is the button shown as "X-41" in the Muchinsky book. While the button is here the ribbon pictured in the book photo is not. Still a most impressive button with high contrast real photo and color tinted cardinal perched on a bat. While Muchinsky gave this a $2500 value in his book, we will open at a mere fraction of that and let the bidding determine the value. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
