Item Description
From same series of eight rare premium books as previous item #1564 published by Whitman that were issued w/different back cover colors w/or w/o ads. Both examples offered here are blue back varieties. First features back cover w/ad for Lemix/Korlix Desserts by Perkins Products Co. w/list of books in series. Book has lt. even aging and minor corner tip wear but is still a high grade, VF/NM example. Second book's back cover was re-purposed as store premium w/large "Griswold's 50th Anniversary" sticker covering nearly all of the blue portion of the back cover. This shows some dust soiling and has tiny edge nick. Book's cover is also lightly aged. Corner tip wear w/some lt. creasing by staples. Fine/VF. All pages are lightly aged but remain VF/NM overall.
