Item Description
The "Buffalo" nickel or "Indian Head" nickel was a five-cent piece struck by the US Mint from 1913 to 1938. Designed by sculptor James Earle Fraser, it features a composite of several Native Americans on the obverse and an American Bison on the reverse. Lot of two PCGS graded nickels as follows: 1920-D PCGS Genuine- Cleaning XF Details & 1923 PCGS Genuine- Scratch UNC Details. From the Robert M. Overstreet Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
