Item Description
10.5x15.75" thin artboard has pen and ink original art for page 4 of Aug./Sept. 1980 issue of "World's Finest." Art was for "Alone!" Hawkman story written by J.M. DeMatteis w/art by Ken Landgraf w/inks by Armando Gil. Page features nine panels and feature alien villain first saving woman from knife-wielding muggers and then slapping car aside as if it were a toy. Page mentions Midway City (the home city of DC Comics' Hawkman), but Hawkman is not featured on this page. Handwritten title, issue number and job number at top along w/handwritten page number in black felt tip pen. Art has some scattered blue pencil editorial notations and art has some scattered white correctional fluid. Top margin has slight trim (not affecting art or text) and bottom center margin has thin strip of aged tape (again, not affecting art). Art itself is VF/Exc.
