Item Description
22-1/8x30-7/8" thin cardboard poster for March 31, 1967 concert that took place at Civic Coliseum in Knoxville, TN featuring Jackie Wilson (w/"Whispers, Fairest Of Them All, Brand New Thing, I Believe" song titles beside his photo) and B.B. King (w/"Waitin' On You, Night Life, Blues Stay Away" song titles beside his photo). Concert also featured Big Maybelle, The Drifters (w/"Aretha, Baby What I Mean, You Can't Love Them All" song titles beside group photo), Freddie Scott, Howard Tate, Peg Leg Moffett and Johnny "Guitar" Jones and King Kauslas Band. All are pictured by their names. Super Sonic Attractions concert was MC'd by Gorgeous George and Bill Murry. Printed by Globe Poster of Baltimore, MD. Poster has .25" to .75" strip of masking tape along entire left margin and .5" strip of tape along entire right margin. While this does affect some of poster's design/text, tape is not greatly distracting as it blends somewhat w/aged poster. Poster has scattered handling wear and top/bottom center margin has thin strips of aged masking tape added as well. Lower right corner has 1.5" staple pull/holes w/additional staple hole just to left. Lower left margin has .25" area of tears/wear and upper margin has .25" tear. If matted and framed, would display Fine. Scarce.
