Item Description
11.25x17.25" tin litho with embossing of text and image of company robot-like advertising mascot "James Matic -- Our Wired Man," featuring an electric motor for a head and a switch box body. Company manufactured mechanized farm equipment such as automatic cow feeders, manure removal systems, silo unloaders, etc. 1956 date code at lower left. Upper left hole as made has been enlarged and back of sign has areas of stabilized oxidation. Sign has a few areas w/slight bends and edges have some scattered paint flaking, most noticeable at bottom left. Scattered wear to raised letters. Hairline scratch across James Matic's body. Fine overall.
