Item Description
Pair of 1950s Davy Crockett novelty items. Original thin plastic tube container w/cardboard top/bottom (w/string attached to top as made) contains "Baby Davy Crockett," a 7.75" tall "Permanently Scented Vinyl Squeeze Toy" by Plasti-Flex. Top cardboard end has heavy crease through center and plastic tube has some warping. Fine. Crockett is depicted as an infant, wearing diaper and coonskin cap, powder horn and holding musket. NM as packaged. Comes w/7" long hard plastic powder horn w/worn vinyl gimp carrying strap. Horn contains "Eatin Gun Powder For Muzzle Loadin' Davy Crockett" and features illustrated end label. Pointed end of horn has pair of .75" cracks, but container remains sealed w/original candy contents. Foil label shows some scattered wear. Fine overall. First we've seen in our 49 years.
