Item Description
Smallest is 2" and largest is 3". Only the first button and the last two are official in the sense of having trade mark or copyright logos on the button. The rest make unauthorized use of images or slogans inspired by the popularity of the movie. These are all from the Marshall Levin Collection. From notes in the collection it is known that row 1 #3 button was issued by General Electric in 1978 with 6,000 made. Row 3 #1 is known to be issued by Agway, Inc. in East Syracuse with 500 made/December 1977. Row 3 #2 satirical slogan button is from 1980 and has an "Insta-Button" sticker on the reverse. The last two buttons are both marked "©Lucas Film Ltd. 1987." All are essentially Mint. Comes with Hakes COA.
