Item Description
3.75x6.757/8" deep cardboard box w/illustrated window lid. Early 1950s. © Bob Smith. Box lid and insert read "The Only Watch With Movable Eyes. Patent Watch Co., Inc., New York." Box lid has a few corner creases and lt. corner tip rubs. Cellophane window intact. Fine/VF. Insert has two 1.25" tears at die-cut slot that holds watch, but when watch is in place, these are not that noticeable. Insert is VG/Fine overall. 1-1/8x1-3/8" chrome luster case watch features dial w/Howdy Doody's image and individual letters on each number spelling "Howdy Doody" surrounded by luminescent material, which still glows brightly. Watch comes w/original red vinyl-covered leather band which has some scattered age spotting. Watch is running and NM, old store stock. Scarce as boxed.
